The Southern California Chapter / National Corvette Restorers Society (SCC/NCRS), was formed in 1981 to provide the Corvette enthusiast in the Southern California area a local forum for the restoration, preservation and enjoyment of Corvettes. Since its first meeting in September, 1981, SCC/NCRS has sponsored social, charitable and educational events. Providing activities where those who share an interest in Corvettes can meet, enjoy their cars and promote the Corvette heritage.

The SCC/NCRS offers many activities which complement the National Corvette Restorers Society's events, and is a sponsor of regional and national events.

Technical and Judging Information

Restoration demonstrations and hands on training is provided by experts. Tech Session

Judging seminars are held to update current judges and train new judges. This is also a good way for you to understand what is required for judging your car.

Local Judged Meets:

Work with experienced judges in judging 1953 through 2010 Corvettes.

Activities:

The SCC/NCRS provides a variety of activities throughout the year:

Road Tours to places of interest in the local area: mountains; beaches; automotive museums.
In conjunction with our National and Chapters we have visited many interesting places including Scottsdale, Sedona, Laughlin, Zion, Monterey, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Park City, Tahoe,Tucson, Palm Springs, Mobile and many others.
Non judged events which include picnics, awards brunches, lunches and car displays.
Monthly Board meetings are held online and at local Corvette Dealers
Holidy Brunch
A yearly General Meeting is healed in December at a local restaurant.

Newsletter:

The SCC/NCRS publishes THE BONDING STRIP, four times each year. We encourage members' ads, parts wanted or for sale. We also publish articles and photos of our most recent activities and technical articles with tips on how to save time and money in the restoration of your Corvette.

The SCC/NCRS is a great place to make friends who share your love of the classic Corvettes. They are from all walks of life and backgrounds and they are eager to meet you. You'll be surprised to find how near you may be to other enthusiasts. We pride ourselves in being a family friendly organization and the activities we plan are suitable for children and they are always welcome.
