The official name of this organization is the National Corvette Restorers Society - Bonneville Chapter. It takes its name from Lake Bonneville, a prehistoric lake that covered much of the eastern part of North America’s Great Basin region about 14,500 years ago. In 1992 Paul Eardley, Paul Terry, John Kennedy and Corey Peterson came together to form this Chapter. Paul Eardley lead the effort and was later appointed a "Lifetime Member" of the Chapter for all his pioneering work. The Chapter has lead an active event effort including the hosting of "NCRS Nationals" in the Park City area in 2005 and a number of "Regional" events where they have partnered to create a Western Region Consortium with the South West Chapter, Southern California Chapter, New Mexico Chapter, Northern California Chapter and Rocky Mountain Chapter. The Bonneville Chapter is home to many wonderful scenic by-ways, National Parks including Zion, Arches and Bryce Canyon as well as a number of State Parks and Historic sites. We have hosted several exploratory cruises to many of these world famous areas and invite any NCRS members to join us when they are in the area. The membership has included a number of nationally recognized personalities, restoration and preservations experts, and talented members. There is a strong sense of community and support with the goal of helping every member in their effort to preserve and restore "America's Sports Car".We also enjoy a number of great activities and welcome all who would like to join in. Please visit our Facebook page for future club activities. If you are in the area please stop by one of our meetings or events and say hello.
