Biography

It is with a heavy heart that we have to advise you all that Harold (Hal) Emrich passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Langhorne, Pa.
Hal was a long-time active member of the Delaware Valley NCRS Chapter and enjoyed driving his 1962 Roman Red, 340hp Corvette. Hal was always at our “Run for the Ribbons” chapter show and assisted with our meetings and maintained our first website.
A graduate of River Dell High School, Oradell, NJ in 1965, Hal furthered his education at Bucknell University where he earned a degree in Business Administration in 1969. He added a Master’s Degree in Business from Farleigh Dickinson University, a degree in Computer Science from Delaware Valley University, a certification in Project Management from Villanova University and a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. His career was marked by dedication and excellence centering on Information Resources and Business Management for Crum and Forster Insurance Company, AT&T and eventually as an independent consultant.
In 1971, Hal married Lynn Albrecht and together, they built a life filled with love and laughter for more than 52 years.
Hal’s life was one of active engagement with the world around him.
He was definitely a “doer” as was evidenced by the many building
projects he completed and his ability to handle almost any home related project. His hobby interests were concentrated in the car and motorcycle area and he was the proud owner of many Corvettes and motorcycles and was a member of both Corvette and motorcycle clubs. He enjoyed going to car rallies and Harley Davidson motorcycle events. He was always willing to offer advice and assistance to anyone regarding cars and motorcycles. He also loved his Old English Sheepdogs and often shared photos of them.
