Paint and Fiberglass presented by Tom Ames

In this nearly two-hour seminar, we will discuss what constitutes original
factory appearance as it applies to the different models of Corvettes,
current judging standards, as well as the standard deduction system as
it applies to paint. We will also cover the NCRS flow chart for paint
judging. A time for discussion to answer questions about paint systems
and/or the judging process will be held at the conclusion of the seminar.
Three (3) NCRS Judging Points will be awarded to those who attend
this school.
Matrix Judging Tech Seminar presented by TBA
Time/Date: TBA
An overview of the NCRS Matrix Judging Systems will be reviewed and discussed.
The Matrix Judging System adheres to the NCRS Judging guidelines of “Originality”,
“Condition”, and “Cleanliness”. How to assess,
determine the weighted points and apply each of the Guideline elements
will be discussed in detail.
Three (3) NCRS Judging Points will be awarded to those who attend
this school.

Advanced Judging Seminars with Terry McManmon
Times/Dates:Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:30 AM (Session
1) and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (Session 2)
Thursday from 9:30 to 11:30 AM (Session 1) and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (Session
2)
We are pleased to announce that Terry McManmon, one of the NCRS’
highest level Judges and long-time National Judging Team Leader will again
lead his dual-session Judging Seminar on Wednesday and Thursday. Typically,
Terry and his team of Master Judges select a highly original Corvette
from the judging floor and then use it as the example of many original
parts and assemblies. Close-up examination of Bowtie candidates will be
possible with the use of lifts. Terry’s Judging Seminars are always
well attended and very well received. You must attend both the morning
session and the afternoon session in order to earn judging points
from this seminar.
Five (5) NCRS Judging Points will be awarded to those who attend
both sessions of this seminar; zero (0) NCRS Judging Points will be awarded
to those who do not attend both sessions on the same day.
Technical Sessions
The St. Louis Corvette Assembly Plant presented by Peter J. Licastro

Longtime NCRS member Pete Licastro is the author of Birthplace of Legends:
The Story of Corvette Production at the St. Louis Assembly Plant, 1953-1981.
Take a trip back in time to the St. Louis Corvette Assembly Plant, birthplace
of nearly 700,000 Corvettes. Vintage production line photographs, including
rare and never before published factory photographs will be showcased
at this special presentation. The St. Louis Chevrolet/Fisher Body Assembly
Complex on Union Boulevard was one of the largest vehicle plants in the
world. More than 13 million cars, trucks, and Corvettes call St. Louis
their “Final Assembly Point”. Don’t miss this fascinating,
informative, and entertaining story of this legendary Corvette factory.

1965-1982 Corvette Rear Suspension presented by Van Steel
Time/Date: Monday at 3:00 PM
A representative of Van Steel will lead a seminar on the mechanical of
the back half of the 1965 through 1982 Corvettes. This includes discussion
of rear wheel bearings, half shafts, strut rods, rear trailing arms, and
rear end assemblies. A method of removing and disassembly of rear trailing
arms is included.

The NCRS Corvette Archives at the AACA Library presented by Kim
Miller
Times/Dates: Tuesday at 3:00 PM and Tuesday at 4:00 PM
AACA Library and Research Center Librarian Kim Miller will give a presentation
on the NCRS Archives housed at the AACA Library and how all NCRS members
can access this valuable material as well as the rest of the holdings
of the AACA Library. A virtual tour of the library will be included as
well as information on the
Library’s holdings, online catalog and services. This seminar will
show how the AACA Library is making automotive history available for the
restorers of Corvettes and other collector cars.

1965-1882 Corvette Performance Brake and Suspension presented
by Van Steel
Time/Date: Tuesday at 10:00 AM
A panel of experts will host a question-and-answer session for questions
on aftermarket brake and suspension systems now available for 1965-1982
Corvettes. This will include an overview of the latest products available
to make your “Shark” perform like a modern vehicle.

Holley Carburetor Restoration presented by Jerry Luck
Time/Date: Tuesday at 1:00 PM
Jerry Luck, of Jerry Luck Motorsports, will lead this three-hour session
with the objective to help you understand all aspects of a proper restoration
and correctness of parts by year and carburetor number. Jerry uses actual
hardware to show you what is correct for each factory installed Holley
carburetor. His discussion
will include numbers, dates (stampings) and coloring. Proper teardown,
restoration of parts, assembly, bench adjustments, and final tuning on
the car will be included in this seminar. Jerry will actually assemble
a carburetor (that has already gone through his machining and restoration
process), install it on a Corvette,
start it up and make final tuning adjustments. Don’t miss this chance

Quadrajet Carburetor Restoration presented by Jerry Luck

Chapter Chairmen and Editors Workshop

This session will be hosted by the Corvette Restorer Magazine Editor,
and Eric Mortimer, NCRS Driveline Editor/NCRS Membership. Focus is on
knowledge sharing amongst Chapter Chairpersons and Editors. Ideas and
what works and resources available will be discussed with attendees. Chapters
are highly encouraged to have a Chapter representative attend this session
if the Chapter Chairperson or Chapter Editor is unable to attend.
